A&E UFO DVD Set 1 -- Hasn't Shipped Yet...

Hi all,

Well, today is July 2nd -- the date that A&E has listed
as the shipping date for UFO DVD Set 1. Since I had
pre-ordered my copy from A&E, I called A&E customer
service to find out if it had actually shipped.  
They said that it hadn't shipped (they still have
it listed as being on "backorder"), but that I
would receive e-mail notification when it finally
ships.

Did the CAPTAIN SCARLET ship from them on time? I think that you said in a
previous post that you got yours from DeepDiscount, but do you know if
anyone ordered it from A&E?

Call me crazy, but I figure that if A&E wants to make the earlier release
date a selling point, they may just want to honor said earlier release date.
Just a thought.

Someone on the SPACE:1999 list ordered CAPTAIN SCARLET from A&E, and
they did indeed receive it weeks before anyone else did. Whether or
not it was actually shipped on the advertised date, I don't know.

What I will find interesting is whether Deep Discount DVD actually
ships on (or before) the 9th, or whether they will also adjust
their shipping date to July 30th...
