A&E response

Here is the response from A&E. Nothing giving any details and all of
my questions were ignored. Plus the reply is nothing more than a ad
to pre-order from them.

Very poor customer service..

Well, I think you're expectations might be a bit unreasonable --
if the A&E UFO DVD Box Set #1 isn't being released until July,
then there's NO WAY that the customer service people are
going to know about it before May!

As it stands now, A&E hasn't even begun work on the UFO DVDs,
so there's no way that anyone can say with any certainty
what's going to be on them. They haven't even received
the copies of the episodes themselves from Carlton yet!

I got an e-mail from their consultant yesterday, and he
said that the current plan is to release UFO in 2 large
boxes, just like in the UK. So that would mean that
13 episodes would be released in July, then the remaining
13 would be released some months later. As for extras,
he's hoping that Carlton will automatically send them
the same extras that are included on the UK DVDs. I
hope so too, but I hope they have a "Plan B" if Carlton
only sends them the episodes...

Well, selfish speaking, I hope for a "Plan B" with other goodies from
the show so that I actually have a reason to buy the American DVDs
too :-)

Christian - looking ashamed to his American friends for his
egoistical wishes {:-{
