A Mention on Digital Spy

Paul Williams
Ed & Mike are mentioned on Digital Spy......

http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=234137

Its the same feeling all over, One of Shock and surprise. The main
thing is that UFO has a very special place in people's hearts of a
certain age 35-45 Age group.

I think if the momentum continue's with such interest maybe BBC or ITV
may consider showing it again ?

What do you think ?

Would Gerry Anderson ever consider a CGI version ? Captain Scarlet's
got my Children hooked !

Paul. I am 43 and UFO does have a place in my heart. I was really hoping it was all a hoax because both Ed and Mike were such great people. I suppose I would not mind a remake so long as they stay true to the series. Purple wigs and all. I don't know how the other fans feel but it would be best to me that two actors would be in a bad position to take Ed and Mike's places. Maybe they could say that Commander Straker and Col. Foster retired with full honors. Or at the end of the movie dedicate it to them.

Dear Bryan,

My biggest concern is that any Sequel would have to be Very good so
as not to harm the original but as current "Enterprise fans" know to
get a quality TV series like this back off the ground could cost as
much as $1.25 Million Dollars per episode economics work against
Quality Sci-Fi Shows.

With regard to Ed & Mike's departure i am disapointed that i have
only recently become reaquated with UFO on DVD and was pleasantly
surprised by the number of good UFO websites available with answers
to all the questions i had as a kid ?

Paul, before you joined there was a 24 million dollar lottary in Florida. I had told the group that if I won I would buy the rights to UFO and Space 1999 from Carlton and get the fans input. Even at 43 I still have wild dreams. LOL.
