Thanks for the info. I subscribe to a lot of US channels from here but
can't get Family Room HD.

Yes, it's mostly available via the Dish Network.

Yes, it's probably not a good match, but you couldn't ask for a channel
to show UFO more frequently... they show it about 4 times a day, every
day! And they've been doing this for years!

UFO is copyrighted 1969-70; was shown in the UK 1970-1, and the USA (I believe) 1972-3.

How SURE are you of that timeframe?? Everywhere I've read says basically, "UFO was filmed in 1969-70, and began broadcasting in September 1970 in England and September 1972 in America."

But I too remember watching UFO BEFORE the fall of 1972, here in Milwaukee. I remember it was either the fall of 1970 or 1971, on Sunday afternoons (either on PBS, or one of the 2 smaller UHF stations, can't recall). I was always stuck watching UFO on the little 12" black & white TV on the 'snack bar' in our kitchen, while the parents watched football on the color TV in the living room. We moved to a new home in June 1972, and got rid of the B&W TV just before we did. So I HAD to be watching before the fall of 1972. But the almost zero info I can find on the internet says I must be mistaken (but I SWEAR I'm not).

I remember seeing it in the summer (can't recall '71, '72, or '73) for the first time. Then again, in my area, it may have gotten a new time slot for the summer and that may have been when I first discovered it, but it may have run the prior Sept.-June season before I was aware of it. Growing up with four older sisters I didn't always get first crack at the television.

I think I remember watching it in '72 or '73, then it was on Saturdays at 7pm in upstate NY.

Unfortunately, the thing that p'd me off was - that was frequently the time we were driving home from Grandmother's house many weekends (a 2 hour trip), and I had to keep missing them....
