Great you've received the set at last! It seems that there ARE some interesting extras but it seems rather expensive if one buys it for the extras only. We can only hope that the second A&E set will have some of these extras too :-) > I'm wondering if anyone here has the TF1 UFO DVD's and also > has the ability to do full resolution DVD frame captures? No problem with doing the wanted frame captues - just send the set over :-)) Only kidding. I'm also interested in frame captures from this set and I think I'm not the only one. Christian |

Hi all,
Waking up this morning, it occurred to me that I had completely overlooked one of the "main" features on the DVD -- The "Making Of"!!! So I just watched this, and discovered that THIS is where all the behind-the-scenes photos from the Carlton discs went! This is a 4 minute piece, featuring a French narrator and a bunch of behind-the-scenes photos. They don't use all of the stills on the Carlton discs, but they do use a fair amount. With just a narrator and some behind-the-scenes photos, I'm not sure if this really counts as a "Making Of" documentary... (?) but it's good to see that they at least used some of the photos... Might this at any point include Vladek pics?

Actually, I'm pretty sure I have From Russia With Love on a DVD as well. James |

I don't think you can do better than Sheybal for the prosecution in 'Court Martial.' Isn't that the one where Freeman makes the remark about him being lizard-like or something? Just so you know...From Russia with Love DVD might be hard to find now, but
the Bond films are being re-released later this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bond. >>Don't suppose you have anything from All About A Prima Ballerina too?
>Sorry James, never heard of it! Some fan of Vladek you are, James! All About A Prima Ballerina is a film that Vladek not only acted in but also wrote and directed in 1980. He also wrote the lyrics to the theme song used in the film. In the film he plays a actor named Markus who shuts himself up with his protegee Barbara for two weeks while he is preparing for his next role. The film is a black comedy. It did very well at the London Film Festival. It might have gone on to be the British entry in the Oscars but for the unfortunate fact it was up against Chariots of Fire. So sadly the film was overlooked and mostly played the art house circuit outside the UK. Worth seeking out. James K. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

If you are going to snarf some of them please do so soonish - I haven't got much space and will delete them soon. > Ohhhhhhhh, you have From Russia on DVD - lucky thing! :o) Yes I have, but my DVD software doesn't seem to like it much - it fell over as soon as I hit 'play'. OK - a lot of frame captures from this movie and I would be glad to send it to the Ladies who wants them (because there are too many to put it into Marc's files section). I'll try to send it to Lesley and Lorraine and to James G. If anyone else is interested in the captures just tell me. Best wishes Christian |
