A couple of observations...

dlevine2100
I re-watched a couple of episodes this week, and thought about
making a few points regarding SkyDiver, moonbase, and lunar module.

About Diver, it is fairly obvious that compared to any known
submarine, the control room of Diver is huge in relation to the size
of diver and the number of crew. I know, this probably made filming
much easier! You would expect to see some crammed quarters, but no!
Someone must have comment about this before.

Regarding moonbase, I think it would have made more sense to build
moonbase underground (or at least most of it). Apparently, it was
relatively feasible to build the large silos for the interceptors. A
buried moonbase would have probably provided better protection
against a UFO attack. It is evident that the laser beams or whatever
the UFOs are shooting do not have a lot of penetration power (as
seen in "The Cat with Ten Lives"). At least with the current
moonbase, it would have made sense to at least have an underground
shelter where non-essential personnel could be sent in case of an
attack.

And with the lunar module, I was just thinking, how are the
passengers supposed to get into moonbase after landing? I guess the
only feasible explanation is that there is some sort of a door in
the "belly" of lunar module, and somehow it can be connected to a
door on the launching pad tower. Has anyone ever speculated about
this??

Have a great weekend everybody.
