A second reply from the comic con...

Here's a second reply from the comic con, about the possibility
of my finding a local hotel meeting room -- seems they've booked
all the local hotel meeting rooms for their own purposes already... :-/

and not knowing for sure until May? grrrrr....

To be honest with you, that won¹t happen...we have room blocks at all the
local hotels around the Convention Center, and any request for a meeting
room comes to us for our approval. We should be able to do something,
but I can¹t commit to it until May at the earliest at this point.

Perhaps a hotel in the area but not all that close to the convention
site?

I haven't gotten an email from Phil Rae in years, so it's possible that the
email address I have for him is no good anymore...
