Aliens or Robots

I think they were not true Aliens,probably more akin to Jacksons human computers.Maybe humans with their concious thought patterns removed and then surgically altered. Exploited like living zombies.Notice how dead zombies have similar robotic movement,ok they don,t die as easily,but their reactions are similarly very slow and un-coordinated.Thinking about it, do we know what the real Aliens were like?The show contains contradictions.In episodes like Survival,Computer Affair,Qof P and Square Triangle they seem humanoid, thinking and moving normally,while again Jacksons theory even suggests they may have no physical form at all.
In respect of the former I think they are less threatening and
smack of the bloke pretending to be an Alien in a red rubber suit and silver painted wellies.Strange how with the latter concept they become increasingly more Alien and far more sinister.This is one reason why I tend to prefer the last nine episodes,even if Reflections is the worst entry of the series.A good idea mind you,but with a half baked script.

I wondered if they might have been humans, just made to look like people, with plastic surgery, and then brainwashed, but that was because I wanted to use that idea for a story of mine, Off Target [quick bit of advertising - it is on SHADO Library] :)
