The food might be in the Green liquid.

Possibly. For some reason, I have this odd visual in my head, of openingthe top of the alien's helmet like one would lift the lid of an aquarium, and dropping in fish food flakes, LOL...

Hi All
Maybe they have feeding tubes (unseen) mounted in their space helmets... food tubes (ala Apollo Astronauts). During the alien autopsy (Identified and Computer Affair), the pathologist did say that anatomically the aliens were'basically humanoid' (heart, liver, left lung, etc.) so they would presumably need the same or similar air and food requirements. Or, maybe the green liquid as well as being oxygenated, also has nutrients that could be absorbed through the skin. Or, maybe the aliens go into deep hibernation during their voyages, and arewoken just prior to planetary approach, or when their systems warn them ofapproach. This way they wouldn't need nutrients directly by mouth during their voyage. Or, they have some sort of slow-release nutrient package ingested prior to their voyage. This has been investigated and tried by the USAF in the 60's for pilots on long recce flights, and had some success... Just some ideas??? Hop this helps. Best to you all :) Griff |

I alswyas thought the green liquid was a survival method, you could introduce food via it, it is helpful to have a body in luquid to maintain it from pressure changes etc, since all indications are that the aliens are near enuff to human, they use this to not only survive the rigors of space but those harvested are put in the fluid as a control device?
being a geek and nerd, or boffin to some and a gamer we have speculated alot about these beings ________________________________ From: Kevin Lazenby <[hidden email]> To: [hidden email] Sent: Monday, April 27, 2009 3:57:39 AM Subject: [SHADO] Aliens. Can you see an alien going into a pet
shop for fish food? I like it. |
I wish my idea had been original. But now that I really think about it, I vaguely recall an episode of Futurama where they had (just) the heads of famous people still kept alive in jars, and I think someone fed Richard Nixon's head some fish food.

That would also explain why their skin was green tinted - not JUST from
contact but from nutrient absorption. Although the fish food idea is rather a funny thought! Rock on! Or maybe the green tint is actually algae, like in a fish tank, lol...

Hi all
I would have to venture a guess by saying the fluid itself contained the all necessary nutrients needed. Wasn't mentioned that the green hue of the aliens skin was actually a result from being submerged in the fluid itself?
