Amazon.co.uk price for UFO DVDs?

Hi all,

I wanted to check and see if Christian had found a better
price for the Carlton UFO DVDs for folks outside of
Europe, so I went through the process of ordering
them on Amazon.co.uk to see what the total cost
including shipping would be. Oddly enough, they
list the price as 43 pounds, but then when I entered
my username and password, the price then lowered to 37
pounds!! With shipping included, the total price
was 40 pounds, which is the cheapest price I've
seen for delivery outside of Europe.

But I also wonder if this is some sort of mistake,
since the price is listed as 43 pounds on one
page and 37 on the other? And if they will
end up charging the higher price when they catch
their mistake?

In the past, Amazon has typically been more expensive
than Blackstar, so this seems really odd (Blackstar
is charging 45 pounds including shipping)

Marc,

The same thing happened to me...I'm getting the 37
pound rate as well.

Hi, the reason why the DVDs are cheaper for overseas customers on
Amazon.co.uk than those living in the UK is one of those nasty little taxes
(VAT) that only UK residents have to pay. Similar to your sales taxes over
in the US?
