Anderson letters/uforia 1980's

ken
Hi All, I have just posted a file 'UFO 1' It shows three of fifteen
letters I recieved form Gerry Andersons office in late 1972, to late
1973.
I must of been a bit of an anorak in them days, while mates were into
football etc., I was into film and television.
You will also notice some items from the first UFORIA convention in
the 1980's that I went to. I remember they showed an episode of
UFO's,'court martial' Sorry about the quatlity of the photos (in days
prior to digital) Gerry Anderson was there, along with Ed Bishop,
George Sewell, Dolores Mantez, I think also, Bob Bell, and Derek
Meddings.
As a footnote, The Andersons were associated with Lord Lew Grade, who
owned ITC, being a big cult TV fan and the fact UFO was an ITC
product. Around the time UFORIA was on, I found myself in Harrords
book department getting Lew Grades
biography signed by the great man.

Hi All :)

Thanks for those photos/scans Ken.

Hey, I was at Uforia, and these photos really bought it back to me. Back in
those days I used a film camera, and it wasn't until I got home that I realised
my film was damaged, and all my photos were blank.... UGH

BTW... I could be wrong here, but the photo entitled Gerry Anderson and Bob
Bell... Well I could be wrong, but I think that was the late and great Tony
Barwick - I remember that interview. I believe Bob Bell came on later and looked
different - more rounded head (excuse me Bob)... I could be wrong here... But
I'm fairly sure. Gerry, Bob and the late and great Derek Meddings... That was a
GREAT interview, lots of audience questions/interaction and jovial reminiscences
by all named.

Best to all,

Griff

You are correct Griff. That photo is of Ralph Titterton, Gerry Anderson and
Tony Barwick.

The reason that I know is that I am the person on stage with Ed and the
person (with the blonde wig) sitting to George Sewell's left.
