Andersonic - issue 5

DukeDexter
Hi, I wanted to give a little mention to the latest issue of our Gerry
Anderson fanzine. 'Andersonic' issue 5 is a 40 page A5 fanzine with a
heavy bias towards UFO. The new issue features an article on the UFO
comic strips in Countdown, a photo feature on UFO locations and
reviews of 2 UFO episodes (The Man Who Came Back and A Question of
Priorities). There is also a transcript of the ignominious court
martial of Alec Freeman and a UFO-related colour cover. It also has
articles on The Investigator, a Captain Scarlet retrospective, reviews
of Trapped in the Sky (Thunderbirds)and Dorzak (Space1999).

There is also a feature on the links between 2001 and Space1999 and an
overview of the much maligned series Star Maidens. The fanzine is
available via eBay for a short while - here's the link

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180211862395&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=008

and via either myself or Dave Nightingale's Startrader site. Previous
issues have covered Timelash, Exposed, a feature on the character of
Ed Straker and an overview of Dennis Spooner's Anderson work. If
anyone would like any further info please get in touch. Thanks

If you're in Blackpool, Thunderbooks might have it. When I was
there last year I bought an issue of Andersonics and would recommend
it. (If this doesn't get me a discount nothing will! :-) )
