The Japanese DVD of UFO which comes out shortly diverts the DVD by
Carlton.
Therefore, the visual quality is same as Carlton.
The price is planned to be 24800-24900 yen / set x 2set.
The DVD of the "first" TB and the DVD of SPACE:1999 might have caused
some confusion.
So far ,in Japan, there are 2 DVD sets of THUNDERBIRDS, 1 set of
SPACE:1999, and 1 set of Captain Scarlet.
The "second" THUNDERBIRDS DVDs ( named "Complete Box") and the first(
and the only) Scarlet DVDs were made from Carlton's DVDs.
So the qualities are equivalent.
(I have both Japanese and Carlton DVD sets of TB and Scarlet.)
The first THNNDERBIRDS DVDs( named "Memorial Box") and the first (and
the only) SPACE:1999 DVDs are made from the same sources with the
previous Japanese Laser Disc Sets. So the qualities are inferior,
although the seller wrote they re-mastered the films.
