Hi all,
For those of you with a high-speed Internet connection, I've put online
a 27 megabyte MP3 file containing the one hour interview with Antonia
Ellis at the San Diego Comic Con. This is taken from Shawn Kelly's
videotape of the interview, which I just received the other day.
The good news is that you can hear Antonia quite well. The bad
news is that it's a bit difficult to hear the questions from
me and also the audience members.

interview and will send it out to anyone who's interested for
the cost of the materials + postage. This will be an all-region
NTSC DVD-R, so you'd need to have some way to play this type
of DVD, whether it be a standalone player or computer DVD drive.
I'm planning on editing in the clips which were shown during
the interview, so you can see what we were watching. (in
retrospect, the clips were perhaps a bit long...)
Also, unfortunately, my computer's hard disk had some sort of
problem yesterday where I had to reformat and do a clean install
of the operating system, so I'll be getting my computer back
in shape at the same time, which will slow me down a bit.
Fortunately I don't think I had any data loss, thanks to
a recent backup on an external Firewire drive. One of these
days I'll find a reliable computer that doesn't have these
sorts of problems -- if such a thing exists! I've have
catastrophic crashes in the past on even the supposedly
reliable operating systems like Windows 2000 and Mac OS X,
so perhaps there is no such thing as a "safe" operating
system.
