I was just wondering if this is anything new on the UFO comics? Are
they out yet? Was told by a dealer that he didn't think they would be out this month. In other news I have just got a letter well more a postcard from Gabrielle who is in France on vacation in a favorite spot(wouldn't you like to know <veg>). She has been going there for the past 30 years and says it has brought back memories of her first car, a royal blue Mini Minor she got from her parents for her 21st birthday. She told me its nickname but if I told you that she would most likely call in the marker on my life. Said they were having a nice time. Hopefull when she gets back someone will have a bit of acting for her to do. James K. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |
UFO has an August solicitation for issue #1 of Anthony Taylor's "Cataclysm"
being planned in PREVIEWS. Preceded, of course, by issue #0 with Diane Annunziata's "Witness To The Harvest". Go to http://www.miscmayhemprods.com/ for updates, as well as http://scoop.diamondgalleries.com/scoop_article.asp?ai=2596&si=124 for a recent interview with Kez. This page still lists issue#0 as coming out in May, so it's certainly not a good source for current information. Comic book shops are currently saying it's not coming out until July (and last month they said June, so it seems to be in a month-per-month slide) Marc |

Sorry about that. That's also why I try to provide updates when they occur
at [hidden email] and when I also try to post UFO-related columns at the SHADO site. I think I'm getting a headache and not just from being able to remember the
original T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents comics either. All this sliding schedule of release for the comic isn't making it any easier for us fans who live in places that don't have major stores that get everything difficult. James [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

And I do apologize for the confusion. The new schedule going into effect will be met by all means necessary. But if you want real headaches, try publishing comics. headpoundingKEZ |

Kez,
This is SHADO. We don't fire people here. No, we Court Martial them! Or leave them alone in a room with a pistol and a single bullet and let them do the honourable thing. Makes you glad you work in Comic Books doesn't it. :-) James K. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

OK, I give up.
What's the difference between being in SHADO and working on comic books? Hi, Michael,

I dunno, but I know the difference between a large cheese pizza and a comic-book writer. er... Michael the title to the theme song from M*A*SH* was called "Suicide is Painless". But I don't recommend it. James K. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Actually in some lights I tend to resemble a large cheese pizza. And I could probably feed a family of eight!
