Apologies to Marc

shutt
Marc, I think I goofed when I talked about being excited about the A &
E UFO video set 'COMING SOON." I was just giving my impression of
your mention that the tapes are referred as future releases on their
BB. I certainly do hope that the episodes are released sooner, rather
than later! There are quite a few UFO episodes I still haven't seen
(or saw so long ago, in the early 70s, I've now forgotten them).

I sent the post about Michael Billington's comments at the Eclectic 21
convention to a friend, who then asked me to explain Mr. Billington's
recollection of Mr. Bishop's advice about "walking" on a spot before
making an entrance. I interpreted this to mean pausing and then
moving forward before entering a room (a technique I have read about
in actor's interviews) but I'm not sure what exactly this would
involve in shooting a television series with 3 (or however many)
cameras. Anybody out there have an explanation?

Best,

Steve

I assumed it meant .. just walking around in a small circle
for a second or two before making an entrance to give the
appearance of 'walking continuity' if you see what I mean -
ie to avoid the appearance that the character had been waiting
for a cue to walk in.

I can understand why Ed felt Mike needed some help with his
acting, he did give somewhat awkward and unnatural performances
back then.
