I'll be out of town in the middle of nowhere (and presumably
without Internet access) from Friday Sept 10 to Sunday Sept 12.
So if you e-mail me during that time, you won't be getting
a reply until after I get back. Bill Cotter has (as always)
agreed to look after the SHADO list moderation while I'm away --

After I get back, I'll be offering a video DVD-R of the
Antonia Ellis interview in San Diego to anyone who is
interested, for approximately the cost of materials
and postage (and yes, I will be accepting payment via
PayPal). I've actually already sent out a few of these
to a few people on the list, so when these arrive, please
let me know if they play of not, or write a short review
on the list, etc.
I've read a lot about DVD-R's not being compatible with all
DVD players, so hopefully we won't have too much trouble in
this area. We've got 4 ways to play DVD's in my house
(2 standalone players, and 2 computers), and 3 out of the
4 played the DVD-R just fine. And my results were
consistent with the following DVD-R compatibility chart
