Hi Folks,
I'm a big fan of the 1970s UK TV series "The Sweeney", being
the fictional adventures of the Flying Squad. Channel 5
screened the first feature film version during the week, and
I'm sure that a bit of the 'Alien Planet' music (the echoey
atmospheric spooky stuff played at the end of UFO eps) is
used at the very end. In fact the music played over the end
credits (not the usual theme music used for the TV series)
was very Space-1999-ish, a trebly 1960s-ish guitar kind of
thing.
Did Barry Gray do the music for the first "Sweeney"
feature film?
