Mike Billington had a sort of lead part in the U.S. series The Quest made in
1982. He played Count Louis Dardinay who was the villain. The series plot
was that the tiny country of Glendora would become part of France again if the
present king died before a aire was found. Four cousins all Americans were
found who were distant relatives. To pick the one who would be the new ruler a
sort of contest was set up where they would compeate in a 13th century test of
their skill and worthiness. Mike character Count Louis Dardinay had been
exiled from Glendora for among other things cheating at cards. He would get his
lands and title back if he could stop the Americans from passing the tests and
make sure Glendora returned to France. Sadly the series did not get picked
up due to bad scheduling in a poor time slot and getting pulled for other
special to be on so no one really saw it and it was cancelled after about 6 episode.
