There's an interesting if mistake-riddled article on the UK ITV Teletext
system today (teletext does have a website and I'll try and find a link, but
it's a bit difficult to navigate).

The article says that UFO ahs made Carlton £6m since 2000 - DVDs,
merchandise, re-screenings around the world etc. There is also going to be a
new set of merchandise / toys in the UK by the end of the year.

As for the mistakes, Shado is headed by someone called Ed Baker, and the
series ran for three years until 1973...

I looked to see if there's a live ITV teletext feed on the internet
anywhere - some teletext services have an internet version by which
you can actually see the teletext pages, with a clickable number
pad - all implemented in Java. Unfortunately it seems that ITV's
teletext doesn't have such a service.

it would be nice if the researchers took their time and recorded the things
accurately and this was always a bugbear with me years ago. If they would only
ask the fans for help, I mean they know of Fanderson's existence for heavens
sake! I'd write to teletext too if I had the energy but I don't at the
moment, so go to it guys and hang the researcher out to dry [please] -grin.
