Considering some of the suggetions for Ed Straker I can fully appreciate why being a casting director is such an important job.
I know in the end it's a bit of fun but some of the suggestions (mentioning no names) are a little ridiculous.
With regrad to the film itself I agree with Brain Boskind I hope its not to gritty and realistic drawn of all colour lacking a sense of fantasy like all of the ITC series of the time UFO was made.
Susan Jameson...I liked her to,and never given thought to the Indians reference. As Griff said, all British children played cowboys and indians in their local wood.It was staple during Summer holidays.
As an aside,Susan Jameson was in a British TV series called Special Branch, which also starred George Sewell and Patrick Mower. It was also pretty much contemporary with UFO,which is why I have some affection for it.The earlier incarnation of Special Branch (there were two distinct styles) starred Derren (the lips) Nesbitt.
