Century 21 Studios Slough

For those who are interested,here is a link to a satellite shot of the Century 21 studios in Slough (Stirling Road) where all the model shots were filmed for UFO.

The studios (or more appropriately converted factory units ) are now a plastics firm.

Zoom in on the cooling towers.Then scan upwards towards the strip of green between the Housing Estate.The Five units
are in front of the concrete patch on the strip of green,to the left of the white factory unit as you look.

The Launch sequence for the Eurosec rocket in "Journey to the far side of the sun" was filmed on the narrow concrete strip between the two centre factory units,and the fence seperating it from the grassed area.The whole sequence was filmed against a natural sky.
All of the Houses back towards the road leading off left and the end of the tree line right were not built in 1969/1970 when UFO was filmed at the studios.

All the area to the left of the studios were open fields at the time.
