Change UFO?

Yes, Marc. I agree with you. UFO can't be made in today's society without
a LOT of major changes being made to its original premise. Hollywood would
never accept it as it was originally done, even though it still holds up as
one of the best science fiction series of all time. Whatever they do ---
with new actors and/or new aliens --- it won't be what it once was. And
fans will have to accept that or just not go see it.
Yours,
Denise

Pam McCaughey-2
There are certainly alot of changes necessary to update UFO but they're all
small changes in my mind. I agree with Randy about the aliens being even
nastier than we ever realized from the first series - they don't just want
human organs, but they want to clone humans to get free body parts (not to
mention avoiding the billion light year space trip), and/or other atrocities
which would make the Nazis look like amateurs. Pam

If they were able to clone people, then why would they need to keep coming back to Earth for? Once they got a sufficent "base" for their cloning, they wouldn't need us anymore.
By the way, I always thought that it was a little weird that they could develop FTL space flight, and then put it into these tiny little ships that couldn't hold more then two or three people at a time.
But wait, maybe there is a "Mother Ship" out there somewhere that launches the UFOes a few at a time. That would explain the "Spark of light" that is all ways seen in the shots of the interceptors launches.
Why the mother ship didn't just launch everthing at us though, is a good question. Probibly because it would have ment the end of the series.
Just thinking outload, which can be a dangerious habit.
