Confetti Check A-OK.

Kevin Lazenby-3
I don`t wholly agree with the comment that
UFO was a children's programme. I think that Anderson was trying to get
away from making
such programs such as Joe 90 et al, and make
a program aimed more at adults, with adult themes - hence UFO.

Kevin,
UFO was meant to be Gerry and Sylvia's first project using live actors. The Power that Be thought the show would be like Thunderbirds but with real people in the starring roles. When they saw the show they realised it was in the wrong time slot but the damage had been done. When the US got the property they had no idea what time slot to put it one because it was so not a children's show. That is one of the reasons the show was canceled after one season. I saw it for the first time at 3am. I had insomnia even as a child. I did not see it again for almost 30yrs but I still had some memories of the show. Now I own the whole show and I watch it whenever I want plus I meet new people like yourself.
