At the last Fanderson event, the autographs were all done at the end of
the day. This meant you had to only queue up once in order to talk to
and meet everyone. I think I managed to watch most of the interviews in
the main room at the 2000 event but this time I only managed to see
about an hour (I was only there on the Saturday). The organisation was
absolutely appalling, interviews/talks running over, items being
dropped, very long queues at the Fanderson stand due to only having one
credit card machine, autograph sessions spread out over the day rather
than in one large slot at the end, not being sent the itinerary before
the event, the bar/restaurant closing for cold drinks.
I could go on but I won't!
I don't think I will be wasting my money for the next event unless these
basic issues are considered. Luckily I live only an hour away from the
event and did not have to put up with the hotels like some other
attendees did.

Re the bit of Fireball XL-5 colorizing that they showed: How much
would it cost to colorize all of Fireball XL-5? Would it be cheaper
to remake it all as CGI? It is a pity that UK TV never shows it or
Supercar because of unwillingness to show black-and-white matter. I
had to miss an interview to see a Fireball XL-5 episode screening: I
had never seen one in full before

Re autographs: I saw the size of the queue and decided not to bother.
The Stonebridge Manor Hotel does not serve hot breakfasts before
8.30am.
