Hello,as anyone else had any
defective discs? I bought two sets
from two local stores in Bedford
andboth would not play the third
episode on the third disc. I have
just bought a third set in London
and that is fine. So the whole batch
edford was defective! delivered to
BWhile the picture quality is
awesomely perfect and a great advert
for the magic of DVD,I do have four
big beefs with Carlton: the biggest
is the packaging,WHY switch to a
dreadful 'digipack' when all the
previous G.Anderson series have been
released in handsome keepcase covers
in equally handsome boxholders.
These digipacks will not hold up to
much manhandling and soon
deteriorate like clipcase covers.
Why only four chapter stops per
episode? Thunderbirds episodes of
the same length had eight quite
rightly. The Dolby Digital mono
remastering is indeed brilliant,but
I still wanted a 5.1 remix option:I
want to hear those ufos coming out
of my rear speakers! Finally,bearing
in mind the extras are a few stills
per disc this could,and should,have
been a six disc boxset instead of
eight discs in two seperate
digipacks.
