DINKIE tekno-robot

Bill Adkins
My son got a Dinkie tekno robot for Christmas, and it's alot like those
Japanese cyber-pets of a few years ago where you had to interact and feed
them to keep them happy and healthy. Anyway, there is a game mode where the
videoscreen face becomes a gameboy like screen and one of the games is
U.F.O. HUNT where you fire missiles at incoming flying saucers. Nothing
novel about that but in the background it plays the UFO theme. YES, the
theme from our beloved series. I thought I was hallucinating at first but as
the boy kept playing (and playing and playing) the game, there was no doubt
as to where I'd heard the music before.

The game was made in China by

www.manleytoyquest.com

and the Dinkie website is

www.tekno-robot.com

I'll have to ask my sister where she got the robot the next time she's in
town, but I had to pass this along to the group.

I think so, and if not he knew something was amiss when I didn't ask him to
take his game somewhere else after the hundredth time he played it, as I
usually do when he's
playing electronic games with background music and sound effects.
