I will lay bets they were..
Back about 12 yrs. ago I was able to tape 4O of the 48 eps. of
SPace: 1999 off of KTEH -54 The PBS chan in San Jose. They came
on at 9:OOp followed by Blake's-7 at 1O:OOp on Sunday-bights.
I was taping both shows. S1999 came on at 9:OO and went off
at 9:5O, B-7 came on at 1O:OO and went off at 1O:5O.
Both ran 5O mins. Even Secret Agent on Fri. at 11:3Op (witch
I was also taping) ran 5O mins.
BTW I did tape the other 8 S1999 eps. Or should I say the 4 movies
(lent to KTEH by KICU-36) that were put together by those fools
(jackasses) at ITC. Needless to say I want both the UFO and S1999 DVD's. (as
well as the Randall & hopkirk [D] DVD's) I want to get
a multi-DVD player so I can buy R1's and R2's.. I like chioces..
<< of course now the standard running time for a US hour show is only 43
minutes--I'm sure we'll see that cut into very soon as the new contracts get
firmed up; I just hope they don't go lower than
40 minutes of content in an hour show! Pathetic, isn't it?) >>
It's very very Pathetic, as well as just plane wrong..
It really does look like the add people would just rather have you watch
their commercials.
Golly-gee-wiz Who just wants to watch TV and view/enjoy a good
story when there are all those great-wonderful-you-can't-live
-with-out-things-out-there-to buy buy buy...
