Hi, Simon.

I bought my UFO box set from Blackstar, and it did include the postcards
(they fall out every time I hold the box upside down).

Thanks Kez, I have actually sent a couple of replies to others on this
subject. I was mistakenly under the impression it was a 'Woolworths only'
promotion. It doesn't seem to matter where people have bought the DVDs
from...some sets include them and others don't. I don't know if that was
Carlton's actual intention and to be honest I don't care. From all reports
the postcards really aren't that good. The only things that count -for me
anyway - are the DVDs and what is on 'em. On on that score,Carlton have done
very well indeed.....

Thanks again!

Simon

ps Can we all drop the "well I have got the postcards" or "well I haven't
got the postcard" threads now???!!! :-)

DVDs + cards

teresa.c
I finally got my 4-cd set! It was purchased from Amazon and does not include
the cards.
BTW: did anyone notice that the name of Sonia Fox is mentioned a couple of
times
on the back of the case?
Bye,
teresa (...looking forward to buying a DVD player to enjoy the DVDs as soon
as possible...)

You may want to use http://babelfish.altavista.com/
for both German-to-English and English-to-German translations.
Of course, it won't be as good as a native speaker, but it should
be good enough to figure out what's going on.

Someone asked. ;-)

Then the resident Klingon wrote, in answer to Amelia's post:

>> So when are you going to invite Ed again? I'm wearing out my eyes
looking at
>> the photos you have from when he last was with you <vbg>
>
>>LOL!
><shaking head> You're as bad as Anny ....
><smirk>

Begging your pardon!
I don't wear my eyes at photos.

I wear my eyes out repeating some segments of the DVDs.
<curt nod>

Then JF, under that interesting ultramannick addy announced:

>Aren't we being a little anal about this "sped up 4%"

Nope.

>issue? I've got the discs, they look and *sound*

They *look* great alright.
Hence me wearing my eyes out watching 'em! ;-)

>great! I don't think anyone is going to treasure their
>VHS tapes or even laser discs because *swoon*
>the..DVDs...run..*choke*...4% FASTER!!!! OH, THE
>HUMANITY!!!!!!!

I like the DVDs' picture quality allright.
I'm quite happy to have them.
But, if the A&E set comes out with the right speed and looking as nice, I'll
sure get 'em!

(I'm counting on you, Marc to let us know, anal retentive ones, if they're
okay! ;-)
Then some 'pitch-deaf' people may get the opportunity to buy a nice British
set at a friendly price... :-)

And, dear JF, just because someone's unable to experience a phenomenon
doesn't mean that the phenomenon doesn't exist.

His Edness' voice... (okay, and the rest of the bunch too, ;-) deserves to
be heard as it really was then. As does Gray's great music.

And I'm unanimous about this!
