Okay, I'll try to get my comments in before the deadline this time. I enjoy
this episode. It's not one of my faves, but it has a lot of fun scenes in
it, which makes it a good watch. I love Joan's scene where she's
overhearing Foster on the "phone" line. They really didn't explore her
character enough in the series. She's a laugh a minute!
I like the framework of the episode, so that they begin and end in the
restaurant. I think Foster's pickup line was pathetic, but it was good
enough for the character he was after, I suppose. Poor Alec gets left all
by his lonesome at the end, but I'm sure in true Freeman style he finds a
better conversationalist than Foster to end the night with! *grin* It's
just a shame we don't get to witness it onscreen.
The really awful kiss scene on Moonbase doesn't even rate a comment! I know
they just threw it in to fill out a too-short episode, but I would have
preferred anything else--- even another explosion in space!
Overall, a fun ep. Good buildup in suspense and plenty of action.
Yours,
Denise
