Danger 5 - UFO connection?

This marvellous Australian spoof series parodies a range of classic adventure series and movies including some of the Gerry Anderson productions. Of particular interest on this forum might be the final episode "Final Victory". In this the team of crack agents that gives the series its name goes to investigate after a ship is sunk by an underwater threat. On patrol they encounter an underwater base and their craft comes under attack. Inside the base they find doppelgangers of themselves, identical except for their rather cold, emotionless demeanours and malevolent intentions. Rather similiar elements to a certain UFO episode... whether the producers had seen it and it's a homage or whether it's just a coincidence isn't certain. At the moment the show seems only to be available on DVD in Australia although a search of the web will unearth plenty of tasters.
