Jeff,absolutely no offence taken whatsoever.
In fact,on reflection my logic was a little to basic,my associations to direct.
You were perfectly right to point this out,in an informative manner.
To be honest I saw it as an important discussion.
To think that a very talented and ground breaking special effects wizard like Derek Meddings could have died as a result of work he enjoyed,which brought such pleasure to millions is of concern.
This is why I am still unclear and ask the question.Was his passing due to bowel cancer or as I have read elsewhere as a result of complications during a routine operation.
