Difference between UFO DVD (in U.K region #2) and U.S. (Region #1)

Hi all,

There is apparently a set of two boxes representing the entire 26 episodes of UFO (SET #1 & SET #2) that's being sold in U.K.

However, there seems to be differences in packaging that's outright visible: The U.K. version for SET #1 shows a photo of a UFO with Earth as background; whereas the one sold in U.S. shows the portrait of three of the characters on it.

Does anyone know whether these difference are limited only to the packaging, or are there other differences which actually affect the content and quality of the DVDs?

They are different in almost all respects -- they use different video
formats (PAL vs. NTSC), different region encoding, different extra
materials, and different menus. They both however use the recent
digitally remastered video/audio with spectacular quality!
