Discussion 'Bloopers'

This started out as a lively and interesting discussion.

It has degenerated into little more than  a slanging match, with a group of people now taking every opportunity to 'mob' someone who has a different viewpoint to their own.

It is no longer pleasant to read or follow.

And I expect that there will be unpleasant comments made about THIS post.

Fair enough. It only proves my point.

Personal comments have no place in an open forum. If you disagree with a point of view, fine, but calling someone a derogatory name or referring to them in the third person simply belittles the writer.
