Doppelganger on video

If anybody is having trouble getting a copy of Doppelganger
AKA Journey to the far side of the Sun. You can get a copy on
DVD-R from www.videoscreams.com which is where I got my DVD of the
movie earlier this year. They have the master on Super VHS tape
(so they tell me) and transer it to DVD-R for(US$14) plus postage,
or to VHS (slightly cheaper)
The picture is quite sharp and the sound clear, with only
a small glitch in the picture and sound at the beginning, with
the rest of the movie OK. Not quite up to DVD quality, but better
than VHS, (if it is out of print, the only way to get it.)
For some reason it is not shown in their on line catalogue.
You will have to check if your DVD player can play DVD-R before
ordering.
Regarding the 2 versions with reversed/non reversed writing,

I hesitate to get DVD-Rs of anything I could buy in
stores. As far as having a Super VHS copy, it sure
wasn't given to them by the video distributor. So,
it's a copy of the regular tape transferred to Super
VHS.

I'm telling you, you can find this on official DVD.
Even if you can only rent it, it is not Macrovision
protected and you can tape it on VHS yourself.
