Doppelganger - wrist medical monitors?

Kevin Lazenby-3
The wrist moniters worn by the men, could possibly be 'personalised` to
monitor each
persons specific medical problem. This was shown with Jason Webbs' heart
problem; it
may well be set for a diabetic person's
Glucose level, or pre-set BP warning parameters. Just my thoughts... It
does show,
or imply however, that the male characters in the film are a pretty
unhealthy lot, & the females are fairly healthy! Still find it odd though
that Gerry Anderson didn`t pick up on
the device though, unless he was having a back-handed swipe at the UK
medical professions general 'M.O.T's' for men on the NHS.....

I think that the same device that was used
on the wrist in Space:1999 was used by both sexes, as a general medical
monitoring device.

on their wrist ?

... or, as you implied, maybe only people with certain particular
conditions wear thos moniters ?

Appart from Wedd and Hassler, I can't remeber if any of the other men
had such a monitor ?
