Hi all,
With reference to ...

Whether he signs 350, or 3,500 cards, the fact is within 6 months time
they will cheap as heck on eBay. And they WILL be on eBay!
The initial sales of the CardsInc Thunderbirds, Scarlet , UFO (and others),
saw pricing of the auto cards retail for £40.00 each.
Only 6 months later they were ( and still are) commonly available on eBay
for less than £6.00 each. The UFO 'uniform' card I have seen sell for £4.00,
a far cry from the original price.
For example the 'Limited Edition' (a phrase I detest!) Supermarionation
card set - limited to 300 worldwide (yawn!), is 50 LESS than Ed is signing,
commonly available for £5.00 to £8.00.
Card companies, such as CardsInc, rely on the buyer being 'petrified'
that these pieces of thick paper will NEVER be available again. That is
so far from the truth! There are too many card dealers out there hoarding
these things that they will be around for a long long time... and at
discounted prices, because they cannot get rid of them.
