Hi all,
Here is an interesting photo -- if anyone knows exactly
when/where this photo was taken, I'd certainly be
interested in hearing about it:

taken at a Los Angeles Star Trek convention in 1974.
I have heard that he was a guest at Equicon '74, and
that he did dress up as Straker, and there was
also a gal dressed in the Moonbase costume.
The person who provided me the photo also thinks
it was taken in California in the early 1970's, but
has no more information than that.
Note also that Ed looks pretty much like he does
in this Dinky advertisement:
