I recently read an online interview of ed bishop in which the
interviewer atated that Ed`s country of origin is Canada. according
to the Internet Movie Database ( imdb ) Ed Bishop was born in
Brooklyn, U.S.A.

He's from New York.

Well, in the 2nd grade he attended the Drumhill Elementary School in
Peakskill, New York. Does that help?
