This was just shown on CBC in Canada, and although I caught at least the last hour of it, I didn't see Ed Bishop, although he was in the credits. I believe it will also be shown on the Discovery Channel this week in the USA... Marc |

It will also be repeated in Canada on CBC on Saturday and Sunday. I didn't see Ed in the last 60 minutes, so he must appear in the first 30 minutes. Marc |

I have the program recorded on my hard drive and will try and get a short clip of his performance on-line shortly for those who won't be able to see the program (which I think was excellent produced by the way). In the parts I saw, Ed was playing opposite Shane Rimmer (I think Shane was playing Truman). the whole drama was shot in Poland last year. Oddly enough, the Discover Channel removed the John Hurt narration and replaces it with its own! Otherwise, it seems to be the same program. Marc |

Hi UFO fans - I saw Hiroshima with Ed Bishop last week and he looked so
handsome and young I could scarcely believe he was gone from us! This film actually made me sadder than the original announcement because he was so vital and his voice so strong. It seemed impossible that such a youthful man could be dead..... Pam the Canuck P.S. the Hiroshima film WAS interesting.... |
Yes maybe you could spot him. I remember an episode of The Saint in
which he was killed within the first 5 minutes of the episode. Anyway, I also noticed Ed appeared in 2001, A space Odyssey, but I still (after having viewed that one over 20 times now) haven't unequivocally spotted him there. I guessed he's one of the pilots from the space-station to the Moon, carrying dr. Floyd, so NOT the Pan Am ship, but the round one. Anyone else a better idea? John |
