Hi all,
Okay, I've now taken SHADO out of moderation mode, although new members
will continue to be moderated to prevent junk mails from getting through.
One thing I noted while moderating -- a lot of folks were replying to e-mails
without first editing down the size of the original messages to a bare minimum.
In one case we had someone include the contents of an entire digest in
their reply, and in other cases two complete messages were included. I
was editing these myself while the list was in moderation mode, but now
that it's not, PLEASE EDIT THE MESSAGES YOU'RE REPLYING TO DOWN TO JUST
A FEW RELEVANT LINES! People who don't follow this rule will be individually
moderated, so your posts will be delayed in appearing on the list, and will
be rejected by me if I view them as violating any of the list rules (off-topic,
one-liners, rude, etc.).
