FAVOURITE UFO INCIDENTAL MUSIC

Can you name your favourite piece of incidental music in UFO? If you can't describe it, simply state the episode title and the time it starts and finishes on the DVD, for example 0:23:14 to 0:23:36.

One of my favourite pieces of incidental music is used several times throughout "The Psychobombs." You can hear it when the three of them are sitting side-by-side in the red sports car heading towards the tracker station. It uses heavy brass and some electronic effects, I think. I don't know if these pieces of music were ever given titles, but I would like to call it "Doomed Tracker Station." The problem is, because this music was used more than once, this title is probably unsuitable.

And wasn't this music first heard in an episode of STINGRAY, years earlier?
And also during the beginning of the UFO episode REFLECTIONS IN THE WATER?

I like the music that plays during the scene in Exposed when the the tough guys show up to ransack Paul's flat.

Yes, that's one of my favorites too, although unfortunately the Fanderson
UFO soundtrack isn't a very good representation of that music -- either they
remixed it poorly or it's the wrong "take" of the performance. They
would have been better off using the original mono mix for that
particular track.

I like that music as well - and if my memory serves, they also played that music when Paul was trying to escape from the authorities in "Court martial."

Isn't that the music that's called "March of the Starfish", or something similar, which Barry Grey wrote for Stingray?

I don't know if it was used in STINGRAY but it's on the Fanderson UFO CD aspart of the title "Ambush". I like this march, too :-) On the other hand Idon't have a favorite peace because I like almost all incidental music of the UFO soundtrack :-))

A short answer to that.
Anything that doesn't have that infernal four note diddly-dee-dah motif in it. It drives me nuts.

I'm all for "variations on a theme", but Barry Gray takes the biscuit. There must be some episodes they do it fifty times or more. Watching the shows again recently, I have to say it was the music that really ruined it for me. Don't get me wrong, Gray was a great composer, and did some brilliant work, including the UFO theme, but this wasn't it. It's monotonous in the extreme.
