Marc,
If you're going to go to the cost of adding credit card transactions to your
website, you'd better be a business. The cost is phenomenal! (Unless
you're like me and get in on a great deal.) My new site will have that
capability, if I ever get it finished! But it is very expensive normally.
Fanderson simply may find it too expensive to do at this time. Eventually,
however, they'll need to consider it, because sales will increase
dramatically once they add it.
Yours,
Denise

I have a friend who runs a website that accepts credit cards, this
cost does vary greatly between merchants, so it pay to shop around.
But this overhead is more than offset by the number of impulse
purchases generated, by having a credit card facility. There is also
Paypal which is a low cost method for accepting credit cards. Most kit
manufactures like CaptCardboard have gone down this route, so there
must be something in it.

Good point -- this doesn't cost anything at all up front, they simply
take out a small percentage from each transaction. Heck, even *I'm*
signed up to accept credit cards through PayPal, just for simple
fan-to-fan transactions!
