Fanderson and the Space 1999 CDs

Gareth Bevan
Thanks for correcting me - always good to be put right by someone in the
know. I thought my educated guesses might have been slightly misplaced!

I wasn't trying to suggest that Fanderson didn't pay its way when it comes
to royalties - I know Fanderson does everything by the books, as it should
be. I was however under the (wrong) impression that it is posible to produce
a limited number of CDs with the copyright holder's permission without
having to pay re-use fees. Obviously wrong, and it's good to be corrected.
Hope it didn't cause any problems, as I didn't intend to suggest anything
untoward!

And thanks for the extra info - certainly cleared up some issues in my mind.

I bought a CD yesterday that contains the complete version of 'Pictures of
Autumn', which is featured on the Space 1999 CD year one; the rest of the CD
is great stuff as well. The artist is Jack Arel, and the CD is well worth
hunting out if you like the whole era of easy listening/library music.
