Fanderson

If you're a UFO fan and thinking about joining Fanderson I think you
should know that the Fanderson web page needs updating. It lists UFO
cards as part of what new members receive, but I received my new
member package today but instead of UFO cards I got Supermarionaton
cards. I'm disappointed. To add insult to injury they forgot my
membership badge. I sent an email about the missing badge in which I
suggested that they update the web page about the cards.

Thunderbird Three and a letter trying to sell me stuff.

I'm talking rubbish. I did get one. Little goldy-coloured thing like a
Spectrum logo? Only remebered when I noticed it on my lapel this afternoon.

I renewed my membership back in March and received the latest FAB and an actual membership card about two months ago. You could call it a badge I suppose. It's a business size card with a sky background and a small pic of Thunderbird 2 on it. The rest is rectangles with your information in it. The back is a starfield with the Fanderson Logo and is bordered with small screen captures of the different Anderson shows.You still should have received that at least.

Sort of. I have a card with my details on, along with the SHADO logo, with
the usual fanderson logo on the reverse, but nothing else. The badge, which
I have remembered now, was a gold-plated or gilt pin like the logo that used
to be on the FAB mags - a bit like a pilot's wings. Just when somebody
mentioned badges I thought of button-type things, that was the confusion on
my part.

You're supposed to get a membership card and a membership badge.
Considering what membership costs I want my badge whatever it looks
like. Nick Williams said he'd send me a replacement badge. He also
told me somebody should have noticed the webpage needs an update
before because they haven't give the UFO cards to new members for 2
years.
