It says it ships on July 2nd, a month before the retail date.
I should mention I have a good contact with Scott Bosco, the US
consultant for the ITC releases and he mentioned a few snippets of
information on UFO. He actually told me that great stuff is coming up
with UFO. That he has gotten new material to be produced, including
commentaries - one with Michael Billington - and another which will
knock people's socks off. I seem to remember something being
mentiuoned here about the new commentaries? Anyway, should I find out
more and post here?
One thing that is great about the A&E releases is that the new
immaculate 625/50 telecine masters from Carlton (BBC Resources) will
be properly converted to 525/60 format and will be transparent in
quality, identical to a pure 525/60 transfer. So will get UFO in the
correct 24fps speed. Hooray!
