I dread asking this, but are there UFO "completists" out there who just have to own every permutation of every video/DVD released in all countries, not forgetting the Super 8 films as well?

And (obviously) the menus and packaging are different. Also, don't the UK versions play slightly faster than the region 1 discs, thus altering the pitch of the actor's voices, whereas the region 1's play at the correct speed?

The Region 1 (A&E USA) UFO DVDs have two additional commentary tracks
that the UK sets do not -- Mike Billington/Alan Perry on KILL STRAKER,
and Sylvia Anderson/Wanda Ventham on TIMELASH. There may be a few
other extras... the "singing SID" was an outtake from IDENTIFIED.
In the original script, the Moonbase commander was male, and as a
hobby was teaching SID to sing. They actually recorded Mel Oxley
singing "Home on the Range" for this, and this is what that extra
feature is.
