Fw: Re Kevins idea

Lyn

I think there's a scientific theory going around there's different
dimensions.

Any comments anyone?

I think it's referred to as project "Looking Glass" among other things and if I recall it assumes there are parrallel universes and that there is a way to look into the future of some of these and see different versions of how events in our current history pan out. As to whether it's a real project or just speculation I don't know.

RE: Fw: Re Kevins idea

David Richards-2
While interdimensional travel may be possible (by generating a field that
alters the phase of the traveler?), choosing a destination will be a case of
blind luck. as we have no points of reference to identify desired
destinations and their relevant phase/orientation/vibrating string frequency
or however the dimensions are in fact differentiated.

There is enormous scope for multiverses, given the huge spaces between atoms
- each universe could occupy the interstices with different offsets.

Such things are only now being explored - so who knows what might be
possible in 100 years time. Compare 1860 to 1960. 2109 will be even more
different to 2009 than 1860 was to 1960.

In physics, there are theories which have the implication
that every quantum event (such as a photon being released
from an excited atom in a particular direction) which could
go in a number of ways (say 2, to keep it 'simple') does in
fact go *both* ways, each of which creates a new parallel
universe. As an uncountable number of quantum events are
occurring everywhere all the time, the implication is that
there is an infinite (and ever-growing) number of parallel
universes.
If one could switch between them (no theories as to how that
could be achieved, AFAIK), quite how one could pick a
particular one would be an interesting problem.)

Quantum physics makes my brain hurt, even at the extremely
low level of my understanding (which is undoubtedly seriously
flawed, anyway!)

However (and to keep it on topic), in at least one of them,
SHADO will actually exist and our equivalents will be being
visited by SHADO security operatives, real soon now!.. LOL

that is one cool theory , question how to jump tracks lol
if you wanna play here is a weird idea, that if the actually come from a parallel earth, in the same Time space, ie, along the same age, they somehow puch a hole through the "barrier" the jump into our world's timeline, maybethey used a tech where is hitsĀ  a certain speed, or have to use something that needs low gravity far way from the sun's gravity well, then they fall back to our earth, bleeding off speed till they enter close proximity of earth

Holy alien poo! Are you telling me there are an INFINITE number of MES in
this macrocosm, in this panuniversal cosmology? That is the most FRIGHTENING
thought I have EVER heard! Googles of twisted people like ME!

On the other hand, I bet those other universes are interesting as hell!
