I liked James Spader in "The Music Of Chance" and "Wolf." He's a great actor, youthful looking, but maybe a little too 'weak' in character to portray Ed Straker. I'd like the new Straker to be a bit tougher.

Like James Spader in _ The Watcher_? He played a former
F.B.I. agent who is involved in tracking down a serial killer
and has a drug habit. It's a very serious role and a good
little movie.

Straker as a drunk? no, but I could seee him as a drug addict - nothing
too serious, - a bit like Sherlock Holmes!
