G'day.

Hi fellow members, it's great to become a part of your group.

I'm a 30 year old Aussie who's just four episodes away from owning
the complete series and hopefully the remaining four won't be too far
away. I'm mising:

2. Computer Affair
4. Survival
13. Close Up
16. Kill Straker!

I was wondering if there were any Australian
members of this group onboard.

Wishing you all a safe 2002,

Mark Allanson

G'day Mark,

My name is Bruce and I live in Melbourne - welcome to the group.
I'm mostly a lurker here, my interest in UFO is kinda based around
building models from the series.
Anyway, nice to see another aussie here!
Cheers,

Bruce

Hi, Mark! Welcome to FAB!
Okay, it's SHADO now - welcome anyway.

Yes there are quite a few Aussies on this list although most are quiet like
me. UFO seems to be known less here than in the UK but the fans are
exceptioanally dedicated! Just introverts on the list :-)

Which city are you in? Many of us seem to have all the eps...

To make this more general list-wise... a question:

Does UFO being set in the UK make the eps more real or less real for UK
watchers compared to say Aussies? I mean, seeing shots from reasonably
familiar terrain etc must (?) either make it seem very real or even more
bizarre??
